Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBRENDA LEE MONKMAN (nee PAGEE) Suddenly on June 16, 2001 at her residence, Brenda passed away peacefully at the age of 42 years. Brenda was born on September 21, 1958. She loved to go fishing and would bug her husband Edward to take her ice fishing even on the coldest days. Her hobbies were to watch her flowers and garden grow. She loved to do jigsaw puzzles for hours. She also enjoyed watching soaps on television and had a love for country music. She loved her home and yard and considered it her dream home which she kept in immaculate condition. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband Edward; her children, Ricky, Patrick, Melissa and Adam; her sisters, Lena, Joyce, Shirline and Dale; her brothers, Steven, Roy and David; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many good friends. Brenda was predeceased by her mother Lillian on August 3, 1987, her father Raymond on December 4, 1999 and her brother Leo on June 27, 2000. Brenda was also predeceased by her mother-in-law and fishing partner Grace on November 13, 2000 and her brother-in-law Elmer in 1999. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 23 at the Lundar Legion Hall, with Rev. Shirley Russell officiating. Interment to follow in the Abbeyville Cemetery. Everyone in attendance that day can consider themselves honorary pallbearers for Brenda. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Brendas memory to The Multiple Sclerosis Society, 825 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1M5.
